Professional Training & Experience

I am a Professional Psychotherapist and Counsellor, with membership of two nationally recognised bodies overseeing standards in the field of mental health- the UKCP and BACP. I adhere to their ethical standards and am fully insured.

For over 15 years, my work has focused on supporting people's psychological health, within the NHS, family, schools, and community settings.

I have undertaken 12 years of professional training in the field of mental health and this is reflected in the quality of care I offer. I have an MA in Psychotherapy, from The Karuna Institute and a Diploma in Counselling from the University of the West of England.

I have provided psychotherapy in the NHS (Torbay) as a volunteer for 3 years, and worked in the field of alcohol counselling in Bristol. I have also supported Carers in the Community and worked in a psychiatric hospital for those with more complex mental health needs.
